Explore the structures and movement of breathing as we move, breath and sing together.

This intro to Body Mapping will show how our bodies are designed to move and sing as an organized whole and will emphasize the importance of vocal self-care.

When the skull, jaw, larynx and arm structure are balanced, singing is easier and more efficient! We'll explore these structures to improve vocal artistry.

Breath, pitch and tone; these three elements are tied together at the hip. Together, they form a solid foundation for you as a vocalist. In this breakout, we will look at the relationship between these three and work on practical exercises to strengthen each area and bring them together in a cord of three strands that cannot be broken making your vocals more consistent and solid.

Strong harmony singing and vocal blend are vital to creating a solid sound on a vocal team. This breakout will be hands-on as we learn together how to sing harmony like it’s melody and how to bring your unique sound in line with other in the lost art of blending - bit by bit, part by part to sing with “one-voice” on your teams.

Worship leading is more than just singing the right notes, rhythms, harmonies and words.In this breakout, we will look at the full spectrum of being a worship singer-leader and get practical with ways to challenge ourselves to grow in leading worship versus just song leading so we can lead our congregations more effectively. We’ll talk about and practice things like stylistic choices, ad libs, verbals and more.
